Our MoveDaySM team is dedicated to making our local moving communities the best possible places to live. That means a commitment to creating a better future for our customers, neighbors, friends and family. Our corporate social responsibility focuses are on making a meaningful, sustainable impact in our industry and the communities where we operate.
Community Development Program
Our community development program integrates social concerns into our overall business strategy and operations. This is an area where our corporate social strategy of focusing on issues related to the moving industry, such as homelessness, meets the passion of our employees. Our employees in each area can feel empowered to focus on a charity or event that will make a true impact in the community where they live. We have used our moving and logistics training to tackle issues including homelessness, veterans’ affairs, human trafficking and more.
The only way to keep moving forward is to continually learn, grow and develop. That’s why we offer education assistance to our employees for college classes, and also have scholarships for our drivers. One of our largest and most beloved corporate initiatives is providing three scholarships each year towards college tuition for graduating high school seniors of current employees.
Disaster Relief Program
When the worst happens, moving and logistics companies can jump into action to help deliver goods to those who most need it. That’s why MoveDay and our parent company, Suddath, developed a disaster relief program to ensure that our employees, customers and communities are taken care of. With our training and resources, we are able to quickly dispatch our Emergency Response Unit to distribute necessary, life-saving supplies to those in need.
