MoveDay offers you more than a day job. We spend time carefully training our employees and bringing them into our culture. We want you to stick around for the long haul and contribute to our organization in new ways.
Our drivers can progress within MoveDay, and our larger parent company of Suddath, as an employee. We provide a career within a company, if you prefer that option, or the autonomy of driving for yourself if that interests you as well. We have seen many crew members progress to drivers, who progress to leadership positions as warehouse managers, General Managers and operations leaders. That growth pattern provides a knowledge and understanding of our business and customers that is hard to hire from the outside – that’s why we like to home grow our talent and provide plenty of opportunities for advancement within the company.
Absolutely! We are committed to bringing as many quality drivers into the MoveDay fold as we can. It is a wonderful job path with opportunities for advancement, to be a small business owner, and to make a great living for you and your family. However, we understand the path can be expensive. That is why we have CDL school sponsorships available. All you have to do is talk to our driver recruiter to find out how to take advantage of our scholarship program.
MoveDay is a local moving company, but we are backed by our parent company, Suddath, which has a rich 100-year history in moving and logistics. This means that we have the experience, scope and need to keep our drivers busy and well taken care of.
We regularly recognize and celebrate our drivers through programs such as: safety incentives, referral incentives, quality incentives, fuel discounts, Van Operator Appreciation Week, Truck Driver Appreciation Week and Van Operator of the Month and Year awards. It’s important for us to recognize the important work our drivers do every day on the front lines, juggling the logistics, crew management and customer service involved in a local move.

Driver pay varies depending on several factors including how much experience you have and your role in crew lead process.
With our parent company Suddath, however, there are many different options for how to excel as one of our drivers – if you’re more interested in long-distance household goods operations, or being a logistics carrier, we can provide those opportunities as well.
